Shad Wilson

President/Chief Estimator

Shad has been in the electrical trade for the past 30 years and has worked as the lead project manager/chief estimator for over 15 years at BWE and as a field tech for 15 years prior. Shad took ownership of BWE in 2022 and holds the company’s NC State unlimited electrical license. Shad works with most of our larger projects and CM at Risk clients in the fields of biotech, institutional, medical, pharma and semi-conductor  fab on the office management side. Shad works with Microsoft Office, Procore, Autodesk and other apps.

Rodney Pennington

Vice President/Lead Project Manager/Estimator

Rodney has been in the electrical trade for the past 35 years and has worked as a field superintendent for over 20 years at BWE and as Vice President/Estimator for the past 3 years. Rodney is highly skilled in project management overseeing day-to-day activities on most of BWE’s larger projects in the office and field. He has extensive experience working with all trades to complete projects in a timely manner. Rodney works with most of our CM at Risk projects and specific Owner projects in the fields of biotech, institutional, medical, pharma and semi-conductor fab. Rodney works with Microsoft Office, Procore, Autodesk, and other apps for project management.

Rick Lane

Project Manager/Estimator

Rick has been in the electrical trade for the past 42 years and has worked as a field superintendent for over 38 years at BWE  and has recently moved to estimating and project management for BWE. Rick is highly skilled in managing day-to-day activities on most of BWE’s larger projects and has extensive experience working with all trades to complete projects in a timely manner. Rick works with most of our clients in the fields of biotech, institutional, medical, pharma and semi-conductor fab. Rick is OSHA 30 certified and works with Microsoft Office, Procore, Autodesk and other apps to complete his work.

John Wilson

Project Superintendent/Field Lead

John has been in the electrical trade for the past 30 years and has worked as a field superintendent for over 10 years at BWE and as a field tech for 5 years prior. John is highly skilled in managing day-to-day onsite activities on most of BWE’s larger projects and has extensive experience working with all trades to complete projects in a timely manner. John works with most of our CM at Risk projects in the fields of biotech, institutional, medical, pharma and semi-conductor fab. John has specific experience in not only electrical systems but also BAS and fire alarm systems. John is OSHA 30 certified and works with Microsoft Office, Procore, Autodesk and other apps to complete his work.
